Hier aus einem anderen Forum ein User mit 340.000km auf seinem leicht modifizierten ST (LLK,decat,Auspuff,Superchips,220KW Flywheel)
Die Schäden sind aber mal richtig heftig 8O Denke auch mal, seine Fahrweise hat sehr zu vielen defekten Beigetragen...eventuell auch schlechterer Sprit? Ist aus einem arikanischen Forum
Aber trotz alledem bleib er dem ST treu

Replaced the OFH 10 times ölfiltergehäuse...ca 300euro hierzulande
Replaced cam pulley's
Replaced master cylinder
Replaced Drive shafts twice
Problems with front suspension, replaced linkages
Problems with petrol tank, could not get petrol into tank
Replaced thrust bearing/slave cylinder 4 times
Replaced flywheel and clutch twice
Replaced starter motor
Replaced alternator
Replaced flywheel
Replaced Map sensor
Replaced MAF sensor
Replaced steering sensor
Replaced lamda sensor
Overheated engine because of faulty water pump
Replaced engine at 280000km's
Replaced engine mountings four times
Replaced boost solenoid
Replaced intercooler because of stone chipping
Replaced Aircon compressor pump
Replaced some boost pipes
Replaced brake pipes
Replaced oil breather pipe
Replaced both lower control arms
Replaced MAP sensor again
Replaced MAF sensor again
Replace boost solenoid again
Replaced clutch
Replaced Battery
Replace resonator
Replaced seal on turbo oil return line
Replaced coils
Replaced both tentioners on V belt assembly
Replaced complete head, cambelt and tentioner assembly. (broken cambelt, bend valves etc, etc)
Replaced MAP Sensor.
As you can see, lots and lots of problems but you know what, I still love my ST. Will never buy another one but will keep this one.
I have driven BMW's for years and must say that the after sales service from them is close to perfect.
Unfortunately I can not say the same from the ford dealerships in and around Gauteng. Have tried Basil Green, Consolidated Auto, their service is just terrible!!!!!!!!!
The best service so far is from Porters In Germiston.
